IML Eco Park in Maasim: Sarangani's next tourist destination

My first travel to the western side of Sarangani Province which is composed of the towns of Maasim, Kiamba and Maitum  happened during the first day of our S3X Tour 3 organized by the fab brothers- Avel of Gensantos.Com and Orman of GandaEverSoMuch.Com and the rest of the Sox bloggers. I feel so lucky, with me are some Manila and Davao bloggers. And one of the places we visited during that day was IML ECO PARK located in Brgy. Lumasal in the small but beautiful town of Maasim. The resort has an excellent landscape overlooking Sarangani Bay and vast coconut plantation at an altitude of around 100 meters above sea level.

The resort owner Ms. Haydee Lopez welcomed the group with a sumptuous lunch in their restaurant, they served us with their own versions of some Filipino cuisines, to include my favorite Kare-kare.. their seafood sotanghon guisado delighted me. Our lunch was sponsored by Maasim mayor Hon. Jose Zamorro.

After our meal, Ms. Haydee then toured us around the resort and had us try some of their amenities including the 580 meters long zipline.

IML ECO PARK has a playground, swimming pools for adult and children, a restaurant, zipline , a conference room, cottages, airconditioned rooms for overnight guests and one of the country’s best shooting ranges all overlooking Sarangani Bay.

Entrance Fee to IML ECO PARK is at P50.00 from 7am-6pm and P75.00 for overnight guests with unlimited use of swimming pools.
